“ We booked for dinner yesterday and everything was delicious. We all had three courses between us, I really recommend the cheese souffle starter. All the mains were exceptional although the burger suffered from the issue they usually do where in one bite nearly everything fell out the other side. Desserts I would recommend the souffle choice or the rhubarb crumble. This place is quite pricey but I had nothing at all to fault them on for their food or service. They were also kind and understanding with us yesterday as we were 30 mins behind schedule due to a cricket match filling every parking spot in the village. In fact, parking is the only issue with this pub, and as there's little they can feasibly do about it they still deserve 5 stars. I'm looking forward to returning. ”

“ I went here today with my son and daughter in law. We had a lovely lunch. It's a lovely old building with lots of character. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was of a very high standard with a huge choice of dishes. I had the prawn cocktail to start and the crab as a main, filled by rhubarb crumble and ice cream. We all agreed the food was delicious and would highly recommend a visit. ”
